Perth Zoo

Spent Sunday afternoon at the zoo, was a perfect day for it, with the weather not too hot.. We had heaps of fun seeing all the different animals! Here's a few snaps, with some more on flickr..

Adelaide

Have finally got a chance to post these pics from the last few days of our honeymoon.. We came across some fantastic food (and cocktails!) in Adelaide (we often ended up on Gouger St which had some really awesome restaurants).. And one of the best shops we visited was Nest Studio in Stepney.. was so nice to meet Amy and Carly from Umbrella Prints and see their gorgeous wares in person!

B&M Felt

I recently received some samples of 100% wool design & craft felt from a new local business called B&M Felt. I thought I'd mention them here incase there is anyone who is chasing premium quality felt from an Australian supplier.. Just thought I'd share this little project that I did during time off over the christmas/new year break.. I had been needing a couple of new doorstops for ages and finally got the chance to make them using some scraps of cloth fabric (the doorstop pattern is from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing book). I love these beautiful fabrics so much and had been saving them up for the right project.. am really happy with the results!
