It's hard to know how to start this post.. but after almost 3 years of blogging (here and at my previous blog for of paper & thread) I have reached the point where writing a blog is no longer a good fit for me.. As a one person business it can be really hard to try and fit everything in!

I'd really like to thank-you all so much for your support and for taking the time to comment, it has been so encouraging and such a wonderful experience!

I have never been more excited about how my business is growing and the direction it is headed.. I have recently received my first lot of fabrics back from my new printer (printed up as continuous meterage!) and plan to keep on growing my collection of designs.

If you would like to keep up to date with my latest work and to find out when new fabrics are available - please sign up to my new mailing list.. (I will be sending out newsletters on a monthly basis).

I have also set up a facebook page and have a brand new website :)

For customers who would like to purchase my fabrics in Australian dollars, I have just set up a big cartel shop. (And I will also continue selling in US dollars through my etsy shop).

Anyway thank-you so much once again!

Wishing you all the best,

Danielle x

studio 98

I only recently discovered studio 98 - a blog belonging to the wonderful Sydney-based Mokum Textiles.. I thought I'd mention it here as it is a really interesting read if you are into textile design, giving an insight into their design processes and the inspirations behind each collection..

Update

Gosh its been a while between posts! Have been busy working on designs for my new range of textiles over the past few weeks. Am trying to keep them quite simple (which is easier said than done!).. I feel like in the last few days I've had a bit of a breakthrough, and have started creating some designs that are really fitting the look I am after (and they are sitting well together too)..
Not ready to share any just yet, but am feeling inspired which is good :)

Also have had a couple of nice mentions that I would like to share -
My Lovebirds teatowel was featured in a Valentine's Day post over at Skout
and my fabrics got a write up over at Crafting a Green World.. (Thanks so much!)
